Dutchies @ Grotto Beach serves a delicious breakfast and the view is spectacular. In addition we can also recommend The Cockoo Tree or The Rock.

Are most welcome at Nelshof Blue Beach House but please exercise consideration at all times. Unsupervised children are not allowed in the Jacuzzi.

- Dogs
Your dogs are welcome here ONLY BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. As we value our prolific birdlife it is of the upmost importance that your dogs do not harass our Francolins in the garden.

Should you require emergency toiletries, there is a supermarket (Seven Eleven) on 7th Street.

- Housekeeper
A char can be organised for you – R120 a day which you pay directly to her. She will come by taxi and we will take her home in the afternoon. If you want her over a weekend, you will have to see to her transport.
Please feel free to leave a tip for our housekeeping staff at the end of your stay, if you are happy with the service they have provided

- Jacuzzi
The Jacuzzi is there for your enjoyment. We keep it warm most of the year. Enter it with care as it is slippery, and use it at your own risk. Please use the shower to remove as much suntan oil and sand as possible before you enter the tub, and please replace the black insulating blanket when you are finished. Do not leave it bubbling or uncovered when you are not using it.

- Panic Button/Security
The panic button is there for your peace of mind – we have no historical reason to believe it necessary. Please don’t be tempted to push it except in an emergency (and please don’t allow your children to do so) as it summons armed assistance within 3 minutes and makes an ear splitting noise.

Towels and linen are provided. Please make use of the special pool towels provided for the Jacuzzi.

- Windows
The bathrooms in the house have one-way glass in the windows – that means that during the day nobody can see in and you can feel free to enjoy the view. However, after dark the shutters should be closed – please ask if you would like us to do it for you.
The birds can see themselves in the mirror on the outside and sometimes bang on the glass with their beaks – if they annoy you, open the window a little and they will go away.
